Welcome to the Gold Hill General Store and Café
Less than ten miles northwest of Boulder, the small town of Gold Hill was the first mining camp in Colorado. As the town grew, several business were established, including the old store where we now sell locally made crafts and a few groceries, rent dvds to area residents, and above all, serve delicious homemade meals to visitors. We are a small café warmed in the winter by our old potbelly stove, cooled in the summer by mountain breezes drifting down from the Continental Divide.
Whether you live in the Denver-Boulder area or plan to travel here for business or pleasure, we invite you to come ten miles up and a hundred years back for a great lunch, a cold drink, a perfect espresso or chai, or just the rare experience of an old gold-mining town surviving on the edge of an American city.
Open for lunch & breakfast every day and dinner 3 nights a week. For more information, contact us by phone at (303) 443-7724, or send us an e-mail.
